Together with Roeland Ordelman, we were present at the Drongo Language Festival in Nijmegen, explaining to the general public (and language lovers) what kind of speech technology research we do at Human Media Interaction. The day before, I gave several talks during InScience, the International Science Film Festival, also in Nijmegen, about AI and speech technology. Back in Enschede, the first LightBulb Chat about AI was organized by the DesignLab and I was happy to be one of the speakers to talk about speech technology and AI.
